Mangos
Indigenous to the Indian subcontinent, mangoes are now cultivated worldwide. The fruit is one of the few also consumed unripe (in chutneys, pickles, or with salt, chili, or soy sauce), but is most often eaten ripe, fresh or frozen. They can also be used in a variety of dishes and drinks. Mangoes are generally sweet, but taste and texture vary greatly, from soft and pulpy, akin to a cantaloupe or avodado, to more fibrous.
A treasure trove of nutrients and phytochemicals
With a fruit pulp full of essential vitamins, phytochemicals, and minerals from vitamins A, C, E, K, and B6, to potassium, and copper, mangoes are powerful antioxidants with heart disease and cancer fighting properties. They contain 17 amino acids, and are high in prebiotic dietary fiber, polyphenols, and carotenoids (the highest being beta-carotene which imparts the yellow-orange pigmentation), and omega-3 and -6.

How do you ensure product quality on the line?
At Townsend Farms, quality and safety is of utmost importance. We approach our entire business from a family consumption perspective. To ensure the quality of what's inside each frozen bag as well as the bag itself, our Quality Team removes 6 bags every 20 minutes from the line to review package and product integrity. Through this system, any issues are able to be resolved immediately.
I'm not a fan of your reclosable package, can you redesign?
Although we regret you were not 100% satisfied, we are happy to inform you that we are on the verge of launching a revamped package design in September. These new, consumer-friendly packages will feature a zipper-style opening that can be pulled on either side.
